ERNDIM is an independent not-for-profit foundation which has been providing External Quality Assurance
(EQA) schemes in the field of inborn errors of metabolism since 1994. While originally a European organisation
we now have over 400 participants from 62 countries, with approximately 41% of our participants coming from
outside of Europe in 2021.

Accreditation and Quality
As part of ERNDIM’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality External Quality Assessment (EQA) schemes and we have established a Quality Management System designed to fulfil the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043:2023.
ERNDIM is currently working towards accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043:2023 through the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
ERNDIM is committed to providing a high-quality, impartial and timely service that takes the needs and requirements of participating laboratories into account. Participant feedback is actively sought and used to support continual improvement.
